Israel Goes All In…
After pushing the envelope with strikes and counterstrikes against Iran and its nuclear program over the last 12 months, Israel flipped the switch and initiated Operation Rising Lion, a multi-day strategic air campaign targeting Iran’s key military assets, intelligence personnel and nuclear infrastructure.
Showing its typical tactical acumen, Israel quickly eliminated key Iranian personnel, with images showing precision strikes against apartment buildings in Tehran and grainy footage of Mossad operators inside Iran launching suicide drone strikes.
In retaliation, Iran launched several rocket and drone attacks against Israeli cities. And while Israel has repelled an estimated 92 percent of the inbound ordnance, Iran has demonstrated its capability to overwhelm the layered surface-to-surface defense around key Israeli cities.
This is a rapidly evolving situation with US forces for now staying out of the fight. But there are indications that American air power is moving into position around the region to support Israel. We’ll be on top of the events as they develop.
Stay tuned for more updates. And as always, keep us posted on your thoughts and feedback.

Video Roundup
Former U.S. Air Force KC-135 pilot and air campaign planner Col. Mark "Sluggo" Hasara rejoins the channel to discuss why the Israeli Air Force has been so effective so far while executing Operation Rising Lion, the military campaign against Iran.
Two-time Moochie Award winner Prof. Justin Bronk weighs in on the lessons learned (so far) from the recent BVR air war between Pakistan and India and whether those who claim the results prove Chinese military tech is superior to that of the west are correct.
The first sorties of Rising Lion involved more than 200 aircraft including F-16s, F-15s, and F-35s (notably launching without radar reflectors, which means they did the mission in stealth mode) loaded with GBU-24 and GBU-31 bunker busting precision guided bombs that hit over 100 targets across Iran.
Two-time Moochie award winner Prof. Justin Bronk returns to the channel to analyze the recent Ukrainian drone strike deep into Russia that took out a significant percentage of the Russian bomber fleet while it was parked on the ramp. He also discusses the claim that a Ukrainian Air Force F-16 shot down a Russian Air Force SU-35.

People have been waiting for this war for so long, and are so apt to thing of Israelis and Iranians as ardently desirous of going up in flames for "the cause," that they forget: Historically Israel and Iran have often had very fine relations and this war is a pity --- and that's an understatement.

It's tough seeing those Tomcats destroyed. I worked a refueling job (photo) at PAX River when those F-14's were sold to Iran. I even got to fly in the IIAF KC-135. Tom
